Entrepreneur’s Toolbox: A Lunch & Learn for Kaua’i’s Small Business Owners

Running a small business on Kaua’i comes with its own set of challenges — and its own community. That’s what Entrepreneur’s Toolbox is all about. This hands-on Lunch & Learn is designed for local business owners who are just getting started (0–5 years in) or thinking about a pivot, and want practical guidance instead of guesswork.
Bring your laptop and join Mark Aqui, Business Specialist with the County of Kaua’i’s Office of Economic Development, and Keari Shibuya, Small Business Coordinator with the State Procurement Office, for a working session covering:
- Navigating the basics of starting a business
- How to identify what your customers actually need
- Searching for State and County contracting opportunities
- Three guiding documents every small business should have
- Using AI as a practical tool in your day-to-day operations
Lunch is included with your ticket, so come hungry and ready to work.
