2025 Social Impact Report 3 2 With 2025 now in the books, I find myself reflecting not on balance sheets but on moments. The student who submitted an essay about what community means to her received a scholarship. The 500 volunteers who spent their Saturday passing rocks restoring a fishpond that has fed this island for generations. The families who came to Kalukalu at 1624 on a January evening just to watch a movie and eat ice cream together. The small business owner who, for the first time, found out that someone is available every Friday afternoon to help them take the next step. These are the moments that tell the true story of Kauaʻi FCU in 2025. This was a year of showing up. Our team reached more than 800 students across four schools. We awarded $10,000 in scholarships to five extraordinary young people from this island. We hosted free tax preparation, legislative briefings, financial wellness nights, cultural workshops, and makeke that gave local vendors a home when they needed one most. We volunteered at fundraisers and fishponds, grilled at Relay for Life, and fed our neighbors at Hoʻomana. On a scholarship from the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions, Chief Impact Officer Hazelmae Overturf, to Brazil to represent Kauaʻi FCU and the United States, on a global cooperative stage. We watched Carlyssa earn her Credit Union Development Educator(CUDE) designation and come home with new language for the work she was already doing. Empowering those who build, protect, teach, and care for our island has always been at our core. In 2025, we deepened that commitment in ways I am genuinely proud of. We expanded our support for small businesses. We grew our partnerships with community organizations. We invested in our team's professional development so they can better serve this community for longer. Every deposit at Kauaʻi FCU invests directly in our island, circulating here and returning as loans, grants, and essential programs. That’s the credit union difference. Thank you for trusting us as your financial and community partners. We are honored to be both. A Message from our CEO Aloha, Sean Kaley Kaua‘i FCU President/CEO 2
