2025 Social Impact Report

Each year, the Kauaʻi Federal Credit Union
Foundation invites students from across the
island to apply for scholarships — and each
year, the applications remind us of exactly
why this work matters. In 2025, nearly fifty
students submitted essays responding to a
question rooted in our own mission: what does
strengthening the social fabric of our island
mean to you?
The answers were thoughtful, personal, and
full of the kind of conviction that makes you
genuinely hopeful about Kauaʻi's future. From
that exceptional pool, five recipients were
selected to each receive a $2,000 scholarship.
They are heading to colleges and universities
across the country, pursuing careers in fields
that will bring their knowledge, their skills, and
— we hope — their aloha for this island back
home.
Congratulations to our 2025 Kauaʻi FCU
