Meet the partners

Kalukalu at 1624 is a space that fosters an ecosystem of partners, working cooperatively to provide
innovative and effective practical solutions that promote a thriving, resilient Kauai.
Here are the partners you can find at the space:

Waiwai Collective is a group of Native Hawaiian entrepreneurs who share kuleana and a passion for uplifting the lahui. Through their work, they have seen the extraordinary power of physical community when people come together with purpose and aloha. Ka Waiwai is a call to action for the lahui kanaka to come together and dream up ideas of exhange and abundance that prioritize the quality of relationships and the balance between people and aina.

Kaua’i Civil, LLC is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm, based on the island of Kaua’i, offering services statewide. Providing both Civil Engineeringand Landscape Architecture allows us to creatively collaborate to produce seemlessly designed sites.

Kaua’i Civi’s approach each project as an opportunity to serve the people of Hawai’i and care for the ‘aina. Wheather public,  private, commercial, residential, the Kaua’i Civil team is dedicated to delivering projects of all scales with thoughtfulness, innovation, and integrity.

Noho Workshop is a Hawaii-Pacific based architecture and design studio founded by Kanoa Chung. Growing up in the natural and cultural rich landscape of the Hawaiian Islands, our team has developed a strong appreciation for the value of place and an awareness of the power and presence of the natural and built environment.

To Noho Workshop, the land and the ocean are not just recreational spaces, but instead extensions of our home and family. Each of their projects keep this in mind through an integrated and regionally sensitive architecture and uniquely curated design process

Shioi Construction, inc. is a commercial construction company
that started as a kama’aina family business in 1948. Today, it has
grown into a 100% employee owned company.

Shioi construction has left an imprint on the development of
Hawaii’s past and present hospitality, residential, healthcare,
